Is anyone into Zentangles? I have known about them for quite a while, but didn't really bother to do much with them. However, the other night I had to do a night shift in my new job and to keep me wide awake I really need something to do. So i bought some micro pens and got my sketch book and this is what I did. Some sort of fantasy flower, I love it! I really can't draw for toffee, but doing a Zentangle makes it so very easy to produce something that you feel very pleased with.

here . The idea is that doing repeated patterns is akin to meditating, and to be honest I do feel calm and happy when I am drawing these patterns.
All the patterns have a name, and there are at least 144 and probably plenty more as people who are really into this art form are constantly making new patterns up.
Maybe some of you quillers will be inspired by these patterns and see if you can make some up using quilling shapes.
