"This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes this day will be gone forever; in its place is something you have left behind. . . Let it be something good."

It's all gotta go..

I have come to a conclusion, I really don't want to quill anymore.  I know I felt so happy when I began again a few weeks ago, however, I think that was just because I wanted to have something I could be passionate about again.  So here's a heads up, I will be getting rid of all my paper stuff - and there is a lot of it at silly prices and some of it for free.  I will start putting things up on my selling blog  here  Will start doing this tomorrow and over the weekend.

I loved quilling, and had a great time doing it and teaching it but now its time for something else.

Sorry to hear you will be quilling no longer. You have done some great pieces.
But I guess if it no longer satisfies your soul you do need to move on.

I'm so sorry to hear you're giving up quilling, Rosie, but I can understand your feeling that it may be time for something new. I'll be very interested to see what you are offering for sale on your other site - I keep checking it out, but there's nothing on there as yet! Hope you can get the post up by tomorrow, as I'll be going offline for a few days after that. This comes with my very best wishes for the future. Philippa

Rosie,

I'm a first time visitor here, and was really enjoying myself until I got to the bottom of the blog and see that you are giving up quilling.
I'm new to quilling myself and of course just love this art form.
I understand though the need to move on and learn something new, and you seem to have your hands full, with your "mum" (love that term)).
What is a wishblade? I've never heard of this term? Do I need to rush out and get one so that I can become half as good as you are at quilling?
You do lovely work.
Thank you so much for sharing
